About: Hotel 105
FULL POTENTIAL.
Hotel 105 by VOYA.
Completed in 2021 following the lifting of pandemic restrictions, Hotel 105 by VOYA is a boutique hotel perfectly positioned above the buzz of Liverpool’s iconic Bold Street. Nestled in the heart of the city’s thriving cultural and hospitality scene, it offers a stylish retreat for visitors seeking the best of Liverpool’s shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
The hotel features 18 individually designed rooms and suites, sleeping from 2 up to 10 guests, making it an ideal destination for couples, families, and groups alike. Whether it’s a weekend escape, a celebration with friends, or a base for exploring the city, Hotel 105 delivers a unique, design led experience, with comfort and convenience at its core.
Originally valued at £1.7 million in 2020, the project underwent a strategic design rethink during its development and it’s time during local COVID-19 restrictions. The result was a more refined, modern concept that elevated its market position, leading to a new valuation of £2 million in 2023. In early 2024, the hotel was successfully sold to an experienced hotel operator, completing a strong and carefully executed exit.
Liverpool’s hotel sector was hit hard during the pandemic, with falling occupancy rates and widespread uncertainty across the hospitality industry. Despite these challenges, VOYA remained committed to delivering quality and value. Through operational resilience, smart design decisions, and focused project delivery, we not only completed Hotel 105 during one of the toughest periods in the sector’s history, but we came out stronger than ever.
Hotel 105 stands as a testament to VOYA’s ability to adapt, create value, and deliver results even in the most challenging market conditions. It reflects our wider commitment to developing standout hospitality assets across Liverpool and the Northwest, with a sharp focus on design, commercial viability, and long-term investor confidence.
