Duke Street Conservation Area, Liverpool, L1
Duke Street
Tavern.
Neighbourhood Bar & Restaurant · Under Construction
Project Overview
A neighbourhood bar and restaurant at the heart of Liverpool's Duke Street quarter.
The basement level of 82 Duke Street is being developed into the Duke Street Tavern — a neighbourhood bar and restaurant with a full-length illuminated bar, intimate booth seating, and a curated drinks and dining programme.
Open to residents and the public alike, the Tavern adds a distinct commercial dimension to the asset and anchors the building within Liverpool's vibrant Duke Street quarter. Opening is targeted for Q4 2026, concurrent with the residential apartments above.

Interior Concept
A Destination
Venue.
The Tavern is designed as a destination in its own right — a full-length illuminated bar, intimate booth seating, exposed brick vaulted ceilings, and a curated drinks and dining programme. The aesthetic draws on the industrial heritage of the Duke Street Conservation Area, reinterpreted through a contemporary hospitality lens.
Location
Duke Street
Quarter.
82 Duke Street sits within the Duke Street Conservation Area in Liverpool city centre, one of the city's most architecturally significant and culturally active neighbourhoods, adjacent to the Ropewalks district.
The Tavern benefits from strong footfall from the surrounding residential, creative, and hospitality ecosystem, with direct access from Duke Street at ground level.
